Affiliate disclosure
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
Some of the shopping links on ChristmasGiftSwap earn us a commission when somebody buys through them. It costs you nothing extra — the price is the same as it would be without the link.
What commission does not do
It does not decide what we recommend. The Gift Finder ranks gifts on who they suit, what age, what interests, what kind of gift it is, and your budget. Whether a gift earns us anything is not one of the things it can see — the ranking runs before any merchant is chosen, and a gift with no shopping link at all can beat one that pays.
Some of the things we recommend most warmly can never earn us a penny: a letter to open next Christmas, a jar of handwritten notes, coffee from a roaster near you, an afternoon out together. They stay on the list because they are good gifts.
What we do not do
- We have not been paid to include anything.
- We have not tested these products, and we never claim to have.
- There are no ratings, review scores or invented prices anywhere on this site.
- We do not pass anything about you, your family or who you are shopping for to a merchant. A shopping link carries the product address and our own tracking code — nothing else.
Prices
Where we say something typically costs $25–$50, that is our own estimate of what that kind of thing costs, written by us. It is not a merchant’s price and it is not live. Check the price where you buy.
Other programs
We may add other retailers in future. Whenever a link earns a commission, this page and the page the link is on will say so.
