Gift Finder

Tell us about the person, not about the gift. Every suggestion says why it was suggested.

What the Gift Finder asks: who the gift is for, their age, your budget, their interests, the kind of gift, and the ideas it suggests.
Who are you shopping for?
How old are they?

Leave it blank if it does not matter.

What's your budget?
What are they into?

Choose as many as you like.

What kind of gift?

Optional. This nudges the results rather than narrowing them.

How this works

Every suggestion comes from a small, hand-written catalog of gift ideas, each tagged with who it suits, roughly what age, what interests it fits and what kind of gift it is. Nothing here is chosen by an algorithm trained on what sells.

Your budget is a hard limit. Everything else is a preference: telling us somebody likes fishing moves fishing gifts up the list, it does not delete everything else, because the best gift for a person is sometimes the useful thing that has nothing to do with their hobby.

We have not tested these products. There are no ratings, no review scores and no affiliate links. The notes say what kind of thing works for a particular person and what to watch out for — which is the question you actually have standing in a shop in December.

Still stuck?

The Christmas Ideas guides go further than a list — how to buy for a teenager who says they want nothing, what grandparents actually keep, and the three questions that find a good gift when you barely know somebody.
